Rice Meal Blessing Bag Pack
Feeding the Hungry
Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 10:00 am to noon

On Saturday, October 26, 2024, we hosted a Rice Meal Pack to feed the hungry. In addition to members of Hanover UMC filling bags, members from North United Methodist Church, Trinity Methodist Church, and students from Southwestern High School participated. A total of 42 people joined in fellowship while serving the Lord!

We filled 1,200 bags in one hour and 45 minutes. This will feed 7,200 people

We partnered with Midwest Mission for this project. We bought the materials from Midwest Mission which brought the supplies and materials and will ship the rice bags to locations in need. To learn more about Midwest Mission go to https://www.midwestmission.org/

WHAT IS THE RICE AND SOY BLESSING BAG

1 Blessing Bag feeds 6 people.

Ingredients:

  • Vitamin pack

  • Dehydrated vegetables

  • Soy

  • White Rice

These Rice and Soy Blessing Bags not only meet hunger needs, but meet nutritional needs to provide lasting energy.
